Daytime Sunlight Snowshoeing

Venture deep into Utah’s mountains and take in the best views.

Under special permit from the National Forest Service, MTX is authorized to guide you through some of the most pristine wilderness in Northern Utah. Our snowshoe excursions take you to the Uinta Mountains where you’ll find a rugged landscape ready to explore. We’re eager to take your group on a private tour of this amazing mountain range.

• We pick you up in one of our mountain ready vehicles and take you on a comfortable and safe drive to the Uintas. Drive time from the Salt Lake area is about 1 hour, or from the Park City area it takes about 30 minutes.

• We’ll bring snacks, water, and of course snowshoes for everyone. We also provide you with trekking poles and teach you how to properly stride in snowshoes.

• Typically we spend about 3 hours hiking once we’re all suited up and ready to go. We can hike at break neck speed, or pace at more of a comfortable lazy stroll. We want to do whatever is best for your group to make sure everyone has fun. If you have a wide range of ability levels within your group ask us about splitting into multiple routes to better accommodate everyone.

• Our excursions are always private and not shared with any other group or individuals:

  • $120 per person - singles

  • $85 per person - duos

  • $75 per person - up to 10 people (minimum 3 people)
